Hi Team,

In reference to the original post, does the recent change to the die size affect or change the fit of the device on a board with the older version installed?

    Hi Jejomar,

    The new version of the device meets all the same datasheet specifications as the old one, including the mechanical package requirements.

    Even though the devices meet the datasheet specs, if they are being used in a non-recommended way (ie the design was targeted for typical operation rather than the maximum limits of the datasheet) then the new device may not work exactly the same in the application. I would expect this to primarily affect applications that are highly dependent on the input thresholds being exactly the same -- for example, oscillators or RC delay circuits.
