Dear e2e team,
I would like to know the difference between SN74AVC24T245GRGR e SN74AVC24T245ZRGR, now obsolete.
In addition, could you confirm that the SN74AVC24T245 is the new version of the previous PNs?
Thanks,
Giorgia

The only difference was that GRG was not lead free.
The "MicroStar BGA" package was discontinued by the supplier, so it was replaced with the nFBGA package with the same footprint. Also see the nFBGA Packaging application report.
Hi Giorgia,

The part number "SN74AVC24T245" applies to all of the devices you have listed above.
The added letters at the end of the part # just indicate the package + tape & reel info
For example, SN74AVC24T245GRGR is the SN74AVC24T245 in the GRG package with the "R" Tape & Reel configuration. We have a video that explains our part numbers pretty well located here: https://training.ti.com/anatomy-logic-part-number

The NMU package was designed as a direct replacement for the ZRG package. It should be pin-to-pin compatible with GRG or ZRG packaged devices, assuming Clemens is correct that GRG and ZRG are the same except for the 'lead free' indication (he usually is correct). I'm afraid I don't have details available regarding the obsoleted packages.
I just went to www.ti.com/packaging/docs/searchtipackages.tsp?packageName=BGA and compared the package drawing PDFs.
