CD4047B: inverter topology

Part Number: CD4047B

Dear Team,

our customer wants to use CD4047B to design inverter as below.

Spec: Vin :54Vdc  Vout:24Vac   Watt:50-60W

Is it possible to design like this? Thank you!

    The power supply pins of U1 are missing from the schematic.

    Is the input voltage 12 V or 13.1 V or 53V? This devices works only up to 18 V.

    Hi Jimmy,

    The maximum input voltage for the CD4047B is 18V. I would not recommend exceeding that, as it could immediately and permanently damage the device.

    Also, the outputs probably won't drive enough current to replace a gate driver. I would recommend using an actual gate driver between the CD4047B and the driver MOSFETs.
