SN74ALVC245: About I / O pin overshoot

Part Number: SN74ALVC245

Hello,

The following URL shows the actual value of the input overshoot of Standard Logic Device.
The Input voltage range (I / O ports) of ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM RATINGS in the SN74ALVC245 data sheet is VCC + 0.5V (max).
Which of the following two is applied to the ability value in this case?
Or is it something other than the following?

1.  Up to about VCC + 1.0V within the period of 10ns
2.  Up to about 1.1 times the absolute maximum rated VI MAX value

  • ALVC inputs do not have a positive clamping diode.

The only guaranteed limit is that in the datasheet. Please note footnote (1): "Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability." Any larger voltage will degrade the device faster.
