Hi,

My customer encounter the test jitter issue.

The CS signal enter SN74AVC4T774PWR Pin A3 and output in B3, circuit as attached.

The input jitter has introduced the output pulse, waveform also as attached.

Do you have any idea why the situation be made?

And how can we resolve issue?

That input signal violates the Δt/Δv limit.

Add a Schmitt-trigger buffer, or use a translator with integrated Schmitt-trigger inputs, e.g., TXU0304.

Hi Ladisch,

Due to P2P solution requirement, could they use SN74AXC4T774 to replace SN74AVC4T774 and get improvement on jitter issue?

The SN74AXC4T774 does not have Schmitt-trigger inputs. And that signal is so slow that no device without Schmitt-trigger inputs would help.
