We use 6 of the JTAG Mux on a backplane. It is 56" long and 32 layers.
We do a vector test of all the parts on the board at a very low datarate (200KHZ).
Our first run of board, 1000, had about 30 replacements/repairs.
Our second run, 640, has had over 200 replacements/repairs.
We are working with static control in place, but are the parts really that sensitive?
How can I get a failure analysis on the removed parts?
