Hi 

I wold like to know if the SN74AXC8T245 will support the highest speed grade of the RGMII (125MHz clock/ 1Gbps)

    The speed of the translator is specified per channel. 380 Mbps is more than enough for 125 MHz..

    Hi Vivek,

    The timing constraints of the RGMII specification are extremely restrictive, and system design can play a large role in determining if it will function or not.

    I don't know of any translator that can 100% meet all RGMII requirements -- from what I know, the specification was written assuming you wouldn't be doing any voltage translation.
