SN74LV1T34: +V potential in pin 1 (N.C.) allowed?

Part Number: SN74LV1T34

Hi,

I'm looking for a replacement part for 74AUP1T34DCK and the TI SN74LV1T34 looks to be suitable. Since the 74AUP1T34 features an additional VCC pin for the input circuit of the chip (pin 1) and I do not want to redesign the board, the question is if it is allowed to have a +V potential (in this case +1.8V or +3.3V) connected to this pin? I already tried to measure the impedance on this pin, it seems to me that this is floating.

Thanks in advance,

Eike Hintzen
