SN74LXC2T45: Internal pull down resistor feature with bidirectional function

Hi team,

My customer is looking for level shift with integrated pull down resistor to help avoid floating inputs on the I/O's during disabling.

I have found SN74LXC2T45 at ti.com but it seems that it can not support bidirectional for TX and RX signal at same time.

Could you kindly suggest a suitable level shift IC and the requirement are as below?

The TXB0102 does not allow pull-up/-down resistors. The TXS0102 has integrated pull-up resistors.

If you want to avoid floating inputs, you could just as well use pull-up resistors. (The idle state of UART signals is high.)

Hi Feng,

To add to what Clemens has said, you could also use the TXU0204 device. It supports the UART interface, but it is 4 channel instead of 2.
