Where is the date code on the IC, and how can you decipher it. For example, I have one with the top row 6BAPR5K E4.

Yes, I need your help. Because I have several CD74HCT374E. With no date code on the packing material that our company purchased from Mouser and Digi-Key. We have a requirement that the IC we use can not be more than 2 years old. That is the reason I am reaching out to you. also, I forgot to mention the origin of the parts.

Hi Alex,

For the first device with a date code your provided, they were manufactured in 2016 so they will not meet your requirements. For devices without date codes I unfortunately can't help trace the origin. You would have to trace your order back to Mouser/Digi-key for more information.
