I've using the level shifter to go from 3V3 to 5V and occasionally one of the outputs does not produce a square wave like the input. The other seven channels continue to work when this occurs. I'm wondering what might be the cause of this issue.
Two images are attached. One shows a normal 5V output of a working channel and the other shows what the bad channel looks like. It seems like the chip is trying to drive the signal but not able to. I've removed everything on the output of the level shifter to rule out circuitry downstream causing an issue. The input to both channels looks normal.
After 30 mins with the board powered down I power back up and the output works normally so somehow it cures itself.
After re-reading the datasheet I'm aware of two issues I have. I have OE pulled low but should keep it high until my microcontroller is booted up. I also left channels 7 and 8 floating so I'll short those to ground to fix that.
