Hello, I am working on a project using a CD74HC7046A PLL as an FM demodulator for a 10.7MHz IF with a frequency deviation of +/-100kHz. I seem to be having some trouble following the datasheets Application Information section on the selection of components, namely the loop filter. I have read online that a second order filter may be necessary. Do you have any recommendations regarding the construction of this loop filter with regards to deviating from the passive single stage RC in the datasheet? I am also open to alternative approaches to this application or changing to a different PLL. Thank you.
