Hi,

Is it mandatory to support the SN74LVC2T45 power up sequence, which is VCCA prior or at the same time that VCCB? In the datasheet, it is said that the level shifter support partial power down that disable IO and I guess that prevent IC damage. Is the power up sequence to ensure a glitch free power up or it is is to prevent to damage the IC? In my case, glitches at power up is not a big deal, I want to be sure there is no risk to damage the IC. On my custom board, VCCA is supplied to 1.8V while VCCB is supplied to 3.3V.
