I am using level translator for matching voltage levels between two ICs, Need to know the Channel to channel delay for 3.3 and 2.5 to 1.8V translation. delay requirement is Less than 5ns. please suggest any alternate part if the chosen part has channel to channel delay more than 5ns.

also, if IC (MPN- TLK2711-SP) supply voltage is 2.6V. is it advisable to  fed output lines from this IC to level translator  for 2.5 to 1.8V translation (Since in LT 2.6V Input cannot be given as per datasheet)

which parameter to be checked to know such compatibility between IC and Level translator?

  • The TLK2711-SP accepts voltages up to 3.3 V at its "TTL" inputs.

    For translating to a lower voltage, you can also use any buffer with overvoltage-tolerant inputs. The fastest logic buffers are in the AUC family; use the SN74AUC16244. The channel-to-channel skew is usually not specified, but it is smaller than the propagation delay, which is less than 1.8 ns at 1.8 V for this device. For a wider temperature range, try 2x SN74LVC244A-Q1, but it has a propagation delay of up to 10.4 ns.
