I have an SPI configuration with several chips connected to it (more than 20). I already plan to use a clk buffer and was wondering if it is necessary to use a logic buffer for my MOSI line?

If you need to buffer the clock signal, then you probably also need to buffer the data signal.

I would recommend to add a buffer for every 10 devices, perhaps fewer if you have long traces / heavy capacitive loads.

Thanks. My traces are not that long, but I think I'll use one per every 5 devices.
