Hi,

Good Day. Customer is operating his existing device for Vcc = 3V and the PRE input for 2.5V. The TI spec he choose has a VIH = 0.65*Vcc and a worst-case of 2V ( Vcc = 3V to 3.6V). Please see the screenshot below. So in his application, 2.5V on PRE pin should comfortably turn the latch ON. Could you please verify and confirm? Please advise. Thank you very much.

    Your screenshot didn't come through, but I understand the concern.

    With VCC = 3V, the VIH voltage is 1.95V, and at VCC = 3.6V, VIH is 2.34V.  Any voltage between VIH and 5.5V will be recognized as a "HIGH" input state.

    It is important to note, if the input is not being held at the rails (0V or 3V for this case), then extra power will be consumed. The datasheet specifies this here:

    With a 3V supply, if the input is 2.4V, then the supply can increase up to 500 uA and still be within the specification.
