TXB0106: QSPI Level Shift requirement

Part Number: TXB0106
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXB0104, TXB0304, TXU0304, TXU0104, TXU0204, TXS0108E, SN74AXC4T245, SN74AXC4T774

Hi Expert,

Customer is surveying level shift solution for QSPI signals.

Here are two requirements, please help to give me suit solution here.

  1. Voltage level transfer from 1.8V to 3.3V.
  2. Data rate support at least 66Mbps up, 140Mbps would be better.

And also need you help to check below questions and give me your best recommendation.

  1. Do you have any P2P IC to TXB0304RUTR which has more powerful driving ability?
  2. Do you have any unidirectional level shift which is P2P to UQFN 12P as TXB0304RUTR?
  3. Do you have any other bidirectional level shift?
  4. Do you have any other unidirectional level shift?

Regards,

Mark

  • If the two QSPI devices are near each other, then the best solution for the four data lines are the TXB0104 or TXB0304. If there are long traces, connectors, or cables that increase the load to more than about 100 pF, then voltage translation is not possible.

    1. The TXB0304 already is the bidirectional translator with the largest drive strength.

    2. TXU0104, TXU0204, TXU0304.

    3. The TXS0108E is a passive switch with open-drain outputs. Its edge accelerators have the same problem with larger loads.

    4. SN74AXC4T245, SN74AXC4T774
