SN74ABT273: Meanings of Icc (Outputs high) and Icc (Outputs low)

Hello Team,

My customer would like to know the meaning of “Outputs high” and “Outputs low” in column Icc in the datasheet of SN74ABT273. Is the following understanding correct?

Icc (Outputs high)

The amount of current that flows into the IC from the VCC terminal when all output terminals output Hi level.

Icc (Outputs low)

The amount of current that flows into the IC from the VCC terminal when all output terminals are outputting Low levels.

Could you please answer it? Thank you for your help.

This is not correct. I_CC is the current that flows into V_CC and out of GND. I_CC does not include the load current (which flows into V_CC and out of the output pin, or into the output pin and out of GND).

Could you please tell me what circumstances "Outputs high" and "Outputs low" in column Icc represent?

The state of all eight Q outputs is high or low.

The additional current in the low state is the base current of Q4; in the high state, no current flows from V_CC to GND:
