Hi team,

My customer is looking for Non-Inverting 3-State Buffer which has p2p with competitor #IC CMOS NL17SZ125DFT2G SOT353.

I try to search on TI. tool but I don't find the result, could you please give me some suggestions, thanks.

Do we also have Schmitt-Trigger function?

NL17SZ = LVC1G, so this is P2P with the SN74LVC1G125‍DCK.

There is no three-state buffer with Schmitt-trigger inputs (except for the SN74LVC1G99 with 8 pins).

Hi Jason,

We have no single gate, schmitt-trigger input, 3-state output buffers. We do have them in 4-ch versions: SN74HCS125 and SN74HCS126. Make sure to tie unused inputs to Vcc or GND.

As Clemens stated, the P2P replacement is the SN74LVC1G125DCK.

I try to promote our SN74LVC1G125DCK.

but customer think our loss is too big compare with competitor.

Do we have other solution but also p2p with competitor?

Those leakage currents are strongly dependent on temperature. (See some typical values of a different device below.) At 25 °C, they are so small that TI does not bother to test them. While there is no guarantee, they are certainly much more than an order of magnitude smaller than at 125 °C.

Compared with OR Gate, the power consumption is still too large Non-Inverting 3-State Buffer, no parts in low power consumption?

For CMOS devices, the static power consumption, I_CC, is a leakage current. At 25 °C, it is smaller than 1 µA.

Hi Jason,

As Clemens has explained, the leakage currents are dependent on temperature. As you can see our device has the max Icc defined over the full operating temperature range, not at 25C. The leakage current would be much lower than 10uA at 25C.

We also have the SN74AUP1G125 with much lower leakage current specs, however it only supports a supply voltage of 0.8 to 3.6V.
