TXB0104: UART Level shifting problem

Part Number: TXB0104
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS4555

Hi all,

I have a TXB0104 that does a level shift from 1.8-3.3V, one of the pins is a bi-directional UART pin A3, the rest are all from 1.8-3.3 direction

On the 1.8V side this pin is connected directly to the RX pin of an iMX8 module and the same pin has a 1.1k resistor that connects to the TX pin of the iMX8 UART. This is how I inject the TX signal from the iMX8 into the system.

R65 is zero ohm.

Pin A3 of the TXB0104 goes to the IMX8 UART, when I remove the 1.1k connection to the UART TX pin, it works and I can receive from the SIM card, when it is in, I cannot receive anymore, what can I do to make this level shifter work for my application?
