Hello,

My name is Simeon Aleksandrov, I am an FAE intern at TI BeNeLux.

I was searching for a possible newer alternative/replacement for the SN74LVC1G17DCK, however, it seems I was not able to find a good match.

Would it be possible to give some suggestions here?

Hi Simeon,

Why do you want to replace this device? Our customers typically choose LVC devices for high drive strength.Our only other single channel schmitt trigger buffers are the SN74AUC1G17 (Vcc range: 0.8 to 2.7V) and SN74AUP1G17 (Vcc range: 0.8 to 3.6V) which have much lower drive strength.

The idea for the replacement is doing a change for newer parts, ensuring longevity. The replacement should be as functionally similar as the SN74LVC1G17DCK.

Would you comment on any newer parts as possible alternatives here?

Hi Simeon,

I need more details to give a better recommendation. What supply voltage (Vcc) are you operating at? What drive strength do you need?

As I stated in my previous reply our only other single channel schmitt trigger buffers are the SN74AUC1G17 (Vcc range: 0.8 to 2.7V) and SN74AUP1G17 (Vcc range: 0.8 to 3.6V). Both have much lower drive strength than the SN74LVC1G17.

If the SN74AUP1G17 or SN74AUC1G17 don't meet your requirements, stick with the SN74LVC1G17.
