Hi,

Is it possible to narrow down the frequency lock range to 118 – 125 kHz?

I see that Resistor R1 and capacitor C1 determine the frequency range of the VCO but cant find much details on that.

Hi Gokhan,

With the min. R1 and C1 values, the VCO frequency is around 7MHz at 3V to 3.6V supply voltage. Higher R1 and C1 values will increase the VCO frequency.

In short, this device is not going to support kHz range.

you could potentially use the VCXO feature of CDCE913 and divide down to the desired output frequency.
