Hi,
We are using SN74AHC1G08DCKR and we would like to use SN74AHC1G08DCK3 as 2nd source. We found that there is a difference in lead plating (NIPDAU | SN VS SNBI).
We have concern if SNBI plating will cause any reliability issues like solder joint strength, environment effects on joint strength. we would like to know if SNBI is as good as NIPDAU finish and Any special instructions to be followed in PCB assembling.
Thank you
The SnBi lead finish contains only 2 % bismuth. This prevents tin whiskers, but does not change the soldering characteristics.
