Good day. I am posting this inquiry on behalf of the customer.

Please see below the full transcript of the customer's inquiry.

"Hello, we use the Transceiver SN74LVC8T245. Output Enable Time is specified but I can't find in the datasheet information about the direction change time
The time specified between switching between transmit and receive direction.

The DIR pin disables the outputs on one side. So the direction change time is the output enable time.

Hello Marvin,

To further add on to Clemens' response, the DIR pin switching characteristics are very similar to the OE pins due to its architecture. You can use them as a reference for the DIR pin as needed.
