Hello,

We are using SNJ54ABT16245 (MIL Temp.-55degC to +125degC) 16-Bit Transceiver in our MIL-STD-1553B Card in place of Approved IDT54FCT16245 16-Bit Bideirectional Transceiver.

At High Temp (+65degC) the performance of the board was good. But at -20degC we are facing an communication error. We can able to read the Checksum from the Processor and after that while Data transfer board is not responding. It is hanging.

Please note that with IDT54FCT16245  part we have no issue and we have supplied about 1000 boards to different mission critical systems and they have successfully completed the trail runs.

Now we are planning to use SNJ54ABT16245 (TI make) and we are facing the above problem and not able to get the clearance from the end user.

    Hi Sowjanya,

    I need a little more information to help.

    1) How is it failing ( A waveform would be perfect here)

    2) What do your inputs look like ( A waveform would be perfect here)

    3) Have you ordered multiple of these parts and if so are they all experiencing this issue or is it just the one that was being tested?
