AND gate for Laser System

Hi Team, seeking for some inputs.

In need of an AND logic gate for a project. Need to generate a trigger signal for our laser system or in need to use a TTL burst to select TTL pulses from a pulse train. One of the lasers is triggered with a continuous TTL pulse train. The laser produces a laser pulse for each of TTL pulses in the train. However, we do not want the laser to produce a continuous laser pulses. Thus we would like to modify the trigger signal for the laser. We would like to use device (like a AND gate or a relay, or other device) to modify the trigger pulse train.

I will use a computer to generate a TTL pulse burst, which will be used to modify the pulse train. The TTL pulse train and The TTL burst have the same repetition rate. I plan to use the computer-generated TTL pulse burst to slice/chop/select pulses from the TTL pulse train.

The pulse duration of the TTL pulse train is from 50 micro-second to a few millisecond. The pulse duration of the burst can be any value.

 

Do we have any solution for this specific application?
