TXS0206AEVM: How to handle the enable pin of TXS0206AEVM

Hi,

I have a question about the enable pin of the TXS0206AEVM.
The device did not work when the enable pin was shorted to Vcca, but when pulled up with 40kΩ it worked fine.
The datasheet only says HIGH, so could you tell me if this method is the correct way to use it?

Hi Astro,

By did not work, do you mean the EN pin remained always low?

Note that both options are correct as you can tie OE directly to VCCA or with a pull-up if you want a certain state during power-up and will need to be overridden, thanks

No.

When I connected the EN pin to VCCA, the device did not work properly. I put a 40kΩ resistor between the EN pin and VCCA and the device worked correctly.

This is different from what is described in the datasheet, so I made an inquiry.
