TXS0108E: Device suggestion for layer 2 switch

Hi Team

My customer is looking for level shifter for 2 applications as below

(1)CPU(+3.3V)-L2SW(+2.5V or +1.8V)  MII signal(25MHz)　signal 6*2=12 lanes(single direction)
(2)CPU(+3.3V)-L2SW(+2.5V or +1.8V) MDIO signal(>10MHz)　signal 2 lanes(included bi-directional)

They are currently looking at TXS0108E and TXS0102, are these devices good solutions to this application?

If not, please advice devices that might work for this case.

    Hi David,

    They should work okay. However, I would further suggest using auto-bidirectional devices typically for only auto-bidirectional applications.

    Hence, I would recommend SN74AXC8T245 for the single direction application. For the auto-bidirectional application, if above 12MHz similarly to the datasheet for push-pull; I would recommend taking a look at LSF0102, thanks.
