I'm looking at the Datasheets and trying to see the differences between AHC and HCS.
I know these questions get asked alot, but...
AHC looks like it's a little faster (lower tpd), with higher ICC and CI (input capacitance). Also VDD is only up to 5.5V.
Apart from that, the Schmitt-Trigger inputs, hysteris, voltage thresholds are all about the same.
Anything else to be aware of...?
This post says "AHC" is overvoltage tolerant (no ESD structure from Input to VCC); while HCS has clamping diodes to GND and VCC...
This document shows there are secondary clamp transistors for AHC inputs...is this not a part from Input to VCC?
