TXS0104E: TXS0104E vs. TXS0102

Part Number: TXS0104E
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0102

Hi team,

I have a product inquiry on the differences between the TXS0102 vs. TXS0104E.

What is the difference between TXS0104E vs. TXS0102?

They are studying the difference for use in I2C level shifting.

They seem to be very similar, but there are some small differences in switching characteristics.

The TXS00102 seems slightly slower, but I would expect the smaller device to have lower propagation delays.

Are there differences in the silicon design we should be aware of, and/or what causes the difference in switching characteristics?

What does the “E” stand for?

I believe the “E” is for the added ESD protection on the TXS00104E, can you confirm?

                      TXS0104E                                           TXS0102

Thanks,

Chris
