Hi team,

as you may know

some of customer may use MOS to level shift voltage between I2C.

would you compare the disadvantage of using pure MOS method?

or what are the benefit of using our level shift IC

Plain MOSFETs are similar to the LSF010x devices.

The TXS has edge accelerators (allowing much higher speeds), integrated pull-up resistors, and ESD protection.

Hi Ladisch,

how about LSF0102 and plain MOSFET?

any comparison? size?

The LSF0102 contains simply three MOSFETs, with their gates connected together. (The third transistor allows keeping the gate voltage above Vref_A to allow clamping the voltage to Vref_A when downconverting without a pull-up on the output, but that circuit with the 200 kΩ resistor confuses many people.)
