CD74HC4050: How to connect unused logic pins

Part Number: CD74HC4050
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LV125A, SN74AHC125

I'm using a CD74HC4050D in a circuit where the input signal is 5v for HIGH , and 3.3V for HIGH on the output. I'm only using 4 of the buffers. Should the other two be: (1) left floating, (2) tied directly to ground, (3) pulled to ground through a resistor (e.g. 10K) or something else. This question would apply to both the input and output pins. Thanks.
