Need Help to identify the device

Hello Team,

I'm posting on behalf of my customer.

I understand this is an odd request and there likely isn't much you can do to help, but I've exhausted all my other options.

I've come across what I believe to be an NPN transistor labeled as "PT1200" with a TI logo, and a date code of 8831 (early July 1988?). I've searched high and low for a datasheet, or literally any other information, regarding this mystery device, but have come up empty-handed save for one other person asking the same question online (www.eevblog.com/.../). I've scoured through every TI databook from the 70s and 80s that I could find, but nothing seems to make reference to this.

I'm hoping someone at TI could try to find any information regarding the PT1200 in any company archives and share that information with me.

Regards,

Renan
