Hi, I have been using mentor AMS for some modeling using the SN74LVC1G17 and the IBIS model provides no output regardless of the input applied. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Adam

Hey Adam,
I'm not familiar with AMS, but I have used our IBIS models in other tools quite a few times. Can you tell me more about your simulation? Screenshots of the circuit and input/output signals would be particularly helpful to troubleshoot.
If that's the case then I'm beginning to suspect this is a Mento/AMS issue rather than a model issue.
Here are some details.
It's a very simple circuit just to confirm functionality
Output waveform shows 5V VCC input, a 5 V pulse at the device input and nothing at the output.
The devices is configured for the 5V model.
I'll just have to dig into the AMS manual more to find out what's going on I think.
That's interesting - I've never seen an IBIS simulator that shows the full device like that - usually it's just an output with a trigger pin.
I actually use the LVC1G17 model fairly often since it's a good example of the LVC family of logic. Here's an example simulation from ADS:
If you learn what the issue is for AMS, I would love to have the answer on here -- I'm sorry I'm not more help.
I appreciate the support! I'm contacting AMS support today and I'll post here if I find a solution!
Good luck - please let me know if you find something - especially if our model is somehow incompatible with their simulator.
