Hi Experts,

Seeking your assistance please.

I am having difficulties looking for a bidirectional buffer that has same pin configuration like SN74LVC2G126DCUR (8-VSSOP). Client uses the SN74LVC2G126DCUR component in their design as UART tri state buffer but requirement is changed. They want bidirectional buffer in the same configuration, no need to change their layout.

I could see some devices under TXB/TXS voltage translator family but seems not applicable on the customer.

    There is no such device.

    A bidirectional buffer is a transceiver (74xxx45), but plain transceivers have more channels. There are two-channel voltage translators that work like transceivers, e.g., SN74LXC2T45. They have a different pinout.

    If you do not need buffering, there are two-channel switches like the SN74LVC2G66. It also has a different pinout.
