SN74LVC2G06: Using the input and inverted out from this IC as inputs to UCC21520

Part Number: SN74LVC2G06
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC21520, SN74LVC2G04

Hi,

I am testing a PCB that includes a SN74LVC2G06 inverter IC and a gate driver IC UCC21520 to drive two power MOSFETs. The inverter IC is incorporated with associated recommended circuit. The PWM input to the inverter IC is connected to the INA input of the gate driver IC as well and the inverted output of the inverter IC is connected to the INB pin of the gate driver IC. However, upon providing power (5V) to the inverter IC and providing PWM signal to one input pin (1A), output (1Y) from the inverter IC stays at zero all the time. The unused input is tied to the GND pin of the IC. Please let me know what might be the possible issue here.

Thanks

Regards

Jonathan
