TXS0108E: SPI clock distortion

Hi Support team

We have application apply the TXS0108E for SPI leavel shifter, it already built hundrand boards without problem, recently we got problem on it.

The circuit as below, the host is Marvell/OcteonTX2 with 1.8V SPI output leavel and direct connect to the TXS0108E portA, portB wire to the SPDT-TS3A24157.

When the SPDT enable the channel then the SPI signal will through SPDT to SPI Flash.

We found the new date code of TXS0108E would make the SPI clock distortion, any recommendation for this issue?

0AKG4/1AKG4 is ok, but 1CKG4/23KG4 got fail.

Thanks, what difference between DC:2141 to 2149? Seems the TXS0108E have different or some change on electrical characteristics.

Hi Jay

We don't expect electrical performance change across lots with different Data Codes. Since the behavior only happens on two specific lots, it is less likely to be an application issue. Field quality engineer Kung, Stacy has been involved and will drive the closure of this issue. I will close the thread here and let Stacy follow up with you on the email.
