The maximum recommended supply voltage is 3.6 V. (The absolute maximum rating is 6.5 V.) For a nominal 3.3 V supply, this is usually not a problem.

1. This LVC device is the only four-channel automotive buffer.

2. Even at 1.8 V, LVC supports up to 80 MHz.

3. The only difference is the polarity of the enable input. These requirements demand the '126.

Hi Clemens,

Thanks for your reply. I have recommended 126 to the customers. But they wanted to know what would happened to 126 when the input voltage was beyond the recommend voltage but within absolute max voltage. Could you please confirm this question?

Hi NAN,

We only test for reliability within the recommended operating conditions:

As long as the supply is between 1.65V and 3.6V, and the input voltage is between 0V and 5.5V, then the device will have reliability as listed. Beyond this operating range TI makes no guarantees.
