Part Number: TXS0102
Hi team,
customer wants to know how does this device recognize open-drain or push pull signal?
or it does recognize?
since there's a integrated pull-up 10kohm, does this will affect push-pull condition?

This device does not recognize the input signal type. There are not two different modes.
The edges of push/pull signals are faster, which results in faster switching at the outputs. When you are using open-drain signals, only the open-drain timings are guaranteed. When you are using push/pull signals, the faster push/pull timings are guaranteed.
1. but 10kohm will be a extra loss to push/pull device when transimitting 0, since there will be a current straight through 10k to ground , right?
2. does edge-accelerator also apply on push/pull?
1. Yes, a low signal needs to sink the current through the pull-up resistors on both sides.
2. Yes, the edge accelerators are triggered by any rising edge.
The only difference between open-drain and push/pull is that the latter is faster. The TXS always works in the same way, only the speed might change.
