Chart of logic function by family by package

I am attempting to interface digital signals between a
couple of boards with 5 V & 3.3 V power supplies;
manufactured in through-hole and SMT technology;
respectively, using the simplest translation scheme
possible. I am looking at 5 device numbers (Gates & buffers
only) and 6 families. Is there a master chart showing which
packages (both T/H & SMT) are available for different
functions and families?

If not, is there a resource available that is faster than
downloading 30 data sheets and creating it myself?
