hello,
Is an IBIS and/or IBIS-AMI model available for SN74ABTH25245?
Where can I find it?
thank you
Gil

Hi GIl,
Let me look into this. There is a possibility, I will not be able to provide any models.
Hi Albert,
Can you update on the availability of an IBIS / IBIS-AMI model for the SN74ABTH25245?
thanks
Gil
Hi Gil,
Apologies for the late response. The IBIS model for https://www.ti.com/product/SN74AHCT245 should work fine for your device.
Thank you Albert.
The SN74ABTH25245 is unique fot its very high source and sink currents capability.
Will the AHCT245 model accurately represent the high currents capabilities of the SN74ABTH25245? (In terms of driving a 50ohm load).
I want to simulate it in a circuit driving a 50ohm load.
Thanks
Gil
Hey Gil,
If you stay within AHCT specs, it should be a good representation. However, probably not for high current. Unfortunately this is what we have for now.
Hi Albert,
I will stay within AHCT specs.
However, I will load the outputs with 50ohm.
Does an IBIS model take the load into consideration?
When the model is created, is a 50ohm load being used on the outputs, for modeling data?
thanks
Gil
Hi Gil,
I'm honestly not too sure. I will have to check with our modelling expert and get back to you.
Hi Gil,
The SN74ABTH25245 is specialized for driving 25 ohm or larger transmission lines. The AHCT model that Albert recommended will not match this device.
We do not currently have an IBIS model for this device, or any plans to create one.
I would recommend to get some samples of the real device and test under your required load conditions via a prototype.
