TXB0302: Usage of IBIS model

Hi TI team.

We would like to use IBIS model of TXB0302, but we're not sure how to use it.

1) There is no input model for the A1/A2/B1/B2 pin.

　How can we simulate input signal for TXB0302?

2) We would like to simulate the operation of a one shot circuit, is this feasible with the IBIS model?

　We're concerned that the one shot circuit may misidentify the direction of the signal.

1. All A/B pins are both inputs and outputs, i.e., the weak output drivers are always active.

2. There are separate models for I/O pins when the one-shot circuit is active ("OS"), and when not. An IBIS model does not allow to simulate what happens when the OS switches on or off.

The OS is triggered when the input on the opposite side detects what looks like the beginning of a rising or falling edge. The TXB should not be used when there is noise or ringing on the line.

Looking at the IBIS description, the Model_type is 3-state.
This model has no input pin.
Where should we connect the input signals in the simulation?

Hi Matsumoto,

What IBIS simulator is showing the full device in that form? - usually it's just an output with a trigger pin similar to the below. You can then simulate the outputs, thanks.

I understand that the IBIS model provided by TI can simulate the signal output of TXB0302.
Am I correct in understanding that there is no IBIS model available that can input signals to the A1/A2/B1/B2 pins of the TXB0302 to check DigO behavior, such as a buffer model with Model_type as Input?
