SN74LVC2G14: Output drive capability at Vcc=5V and Supply current at full load

Part Number: SN74LVC2G14

Hi Team,

I need clarification on below parameters of the SN74LVC2G14

1. What is the Maximum Output drive capability at Vcc=5V per channel? (I can see in the datasheet @Vcc=3.3V, Max Io=24mA)

2. What is the maximum supply current the part would take when at full load? let me know the value is per channel or total supply current. (In datasheet, absolute maximum is given as 100mA. Do I need to consider that as a max supply current at full load?

Thanks

Santhosh

  • 1. In section 6.5, the datasheet specifies values for 3 V and 4.5 V. These are the worst cases of 3.3 V ±0.3 V and 5 V ±0.5 V supplies.

    2. The supply current is defined as the current that flows into VCC and out of GND. It is always less than 10 µA. When you have a load, that current flows only through VCC or only through GND; there are separate limits for that.
