SN74LVC1G08: Propagation delay distribution on LVC devices

Part Number: SN74LVC1G08

Hi !

I would like to know a little more about the min & max propagation delays in your LVC devices. I understood that min & max strongly rely on Vcc and temperature. However, I am unable to find any data about min & max at a fixed temperature, and a fixed supply voltage.

I would like to use those LVC devices from Little Logic in a dead-time generator with as little tolerance as possible (<7ns). That's why I need to know the maximal differential delay I could get between the outputs' rising edges of two LVC1G08 for instance, or two channels of LVC2G08, supplied by the same voltage source on the same PCB, triggered by the same signal on their respective inputs.

Thanks ! Slight smile

  • The skew between two channels on the same device is typically less than 1 ns.

There is no specified guaranteed maximum. The theoretical worst case is the difference between the minimum and maximum tpd, which is 4 ns at 5 V; the actual maximum is likely to be much less.
