LSF0102: Unable to be driven to low level

Part Number: LSF0102

Hi Ti Team:

In my application, I use LSF0102 to convert the level of the UART.

During use, it was found that the TX signal of A2 cannot be driven to low level (approximately 600mV) by the UART Host.

UART device is unable to obtain the data sent by host.

I have tried to remove the external pull-up resistor (R310, R311), but it has no effect.

Do you have any suggestions?

  • Hey Peiwu,

UART signals are generally fixed directional (and not truly bi-directional per channel), therefore LSF0102 is not the best option for your application.

It is suggested to switch to a different level shifter such as the TXU0202 that is designed for interfaces for UART and is P2P with this device while providing higher signal integrity.

    Regards,

    Jack
