SN74AUP1T17: Schematic review of SN74AUP1T17

Part Number: SN74AUP1T17
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC1G17, TLV3201, TLV9030

Dear Team,

Please help review following designs and comment. Thanks.

Schmitt Trigger

Input voltage swing is from 3.6V to 1.2V. It could not be recognized by SN74AUP1T17DCKR when the input voltage is less than 1.2V. Please help review and comment hot to improve to make sure UB4 can recognize and output voltage correctly. Thanks.

UB4

  • Supply voltage: 3.3V
  • Original input voltage is 5V to 1.2V and will clamped into 3.6V to 1.2V by Q8

Many Thanks,

Jimmy

  • For the SN74AUP1T17, 1.2 V is above VT+, so it is guaranteed to be interpreted as a high level.

    You would need a 5 V device like the SN74LVC1G17 (with a 5 V supply) for 1.2 V to be below VT−.
Alternatively, use a comparator with a reference voltage of about 3.1 V; the TLV3201 is fast and has built-in hysteresis, the TLV9030/1 supports 5 V inputs.
