Hi,

we are using the TXS0108EPWR bidirectional voltage level Translator.

If both sides of the level translator will connect 3V3 it acts as a Buffer are not ?

The TXS family devices won't work as buffers since it utilizes a passive-switch architecture for translation. For buffering + level translation, please see the the fixed direction/ direction controlled devices from the TI page here:
