SN74AVC4T774: SN74AXC4T774 SN74AVC4T774 profile of behavior over temperature range

Part Number: SN74AVC4T774
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AXC4T774

Hi

Do you have   a profile of behavior over temperature for  the SN74AXC4T774   and SN74AVC4T774  devices.

What parameters are changing over temperature ,how  do they change ?

best regards

shay

  • Hello Shay,

Generally in datasheets we don't give a parameter change across temperature. What we do show is the minimum and maximum value a parameter can be given the operating temperature.

For example, the SN74AVC4T774 has an operating temperature from -40C to 85C. On the datasheet, the MIN values represent values captured at -40C, while MAX values represent values captured at 85C, unless we note this differently. I hope this helps.

  • Hi

Many thanks for your detailed and quick response

min and max values can be affected not only by temperature change but also as an example only by input voltage or load.

I am mainly concern about tpd  - is his parameter dramatically changed over temperature from min ( -40oC )  to max (85oC ) ?

    please advise.

    shay

  • Hello Shay,

How much the min and max values will change depends on what voltage you use for VCCA and VCCB.

For example, if we look at Tpd when VCCA = 1.2 V and VCCB = 1.2 V, the difference between min and max will be 5.5 ns

    While a VCCA = 1.2 V and VCCB = 2.5 V will give you a difference of 3 ns.

    Regards,

    Josh
