SN74LVC1G123: question about the behavior

Part Number: SN74LVC1G123

Hi team,

I received 2 question about SN74LVC1G123. Please support.

1) Can this device receive an input and outputs a pulse with no wait time from the supply voltage reachs operating supply voltage?

2) What is the output state if A=L, B=H and CLR=H then supply voltage reachs operating range?

Regards,

  • Hi Atsushi-san,

    1. This depends on how it's configured. The supply should be somewhere within the operating range (1.65V to 5.5V). As long as it's within this range, as long as you keep the VIH and VIL levels in mind on your inputs it should work fine. If the device is below 1.65V probably it will not work.
    2. Again if you are above the recommended operating range and your inputs are within the proper transition ranges, this will pulse. If your supply voltage is below the recommended operating range it MIGHT pulse, a lot of CMOS inputs start conducting current around 1V, but it probably won't work as expected.

    Best,

    Malcolm
