SN74LVC1G32-Q1: Impedance of A/B

Part Number: SN74LVC1G32-Q1

Hello team,

My customer want to confirm how to calculate the sink current of the A/B pin and what is the impedance of the A/B port?

The Ioff specification provides the maximum leakage current into any I/O pin (A, B, Y) when the supply is at 0V.

Can I understand that the A/B Impedance would > 5V/25uA=200kOhm?

Best regards,

Lanxi

  • In theory, MOSFETs have zero input current. In practice, there is some leakage, specified as II ≤ 5 µA.

You can divide 5 V by 5 µA to get an impedance value. But the inputs do not behave like resistors, so the maximum leakage current value itself is usually more useful when designing the circuit.
